Ahmedabad: Spa Owner Assaults His Business Partner, Drags Her by Hair | Caught on Cam

In a shocking incident, a woman was ruthlessly assaulted by a man outside one Galaxy Spa in Gujarat’s Ahmedabad. The video of the incident, which took place on September 25 went viral on social media.

The police launched a probe into the matter on Wednesday, following which a FIR was registered against the owner of the spa, Mohsin, who was seen assaulting his 24-year-old business partner.

Mohsin is currently on the run, an India Today report said.

The video — which went viral across social media platforms — showed Mohsin repeatedly hitting the woman, dragging her by her hair and even tearing apart her clothes as she attempted to resist and protect herself. The four-minute long attack sparked outrage among netizens.

Reportedly, the woman did not file a complaint against Mohsin for two days after the incident. However, the Bodakdev police — with the help of a social worker — reached out to her and provided her counseling.

Upon investigation, it was found that Mohsin and the woman were business partners at the spa.

Police that a heated argument between the two turned violent, leading to the accused thrashing and dragging the woman by her hair.

In another incident, three weeks ago, a woman was assaulted by three men with roads and kicks after she refused to vacate a road where they had shops in Madhya Pradesh’s Sagar city. A purported video of the incident showed the woman sitting on the road when a man comes and starts dragging her.

She was then surrounded by at least 12-14 men, following which they started kicking her. Even when some voices in the back tell them not to hit her, a man continues to assault her.

The woman was heard begging the men for mercy and crying, even after which the men continued to beat her.

Previously in June, video of a man chasing a woman with machete or koyta in an attempt to assault her in Pune went viral on social media causing a massive outrage among the users. The woman was later rescued by the locals.

In the video, the woman was seen running to save her life, then stumbled and falls on the ground, after which the accused was overpowered by the locals and handed over to the cops. The man was seen hitting her in the back. However, the locals rebelled against the act and threw objects at the man to repel him and managed to restrain him.
