A surprising incident occurred on the 22181 Jabalpur-Hazrat Nizamuddin Gondwana Express from Jabalpur to Delhi. Water began to leak from the AC coach’s roof near Sagar Damoh. As per report, water started gushing from the roof of the M-3 AC coach of the train, causing great inconvenience to the passengers. After the water began to gush from the roof, the passengers left their seats. Passengers made a video of the entire incident, and this clip went viral on social media. This happened as soon as the train left Jabalpur. At first water started dripping from the roof. Within a short period of time, the water began to pour like a waterfall, causing issues for the passengers inside the coach. The clothes of the passengers also got wet due to rainwater falling inside the M-3 coach from the roof of the train coach.
Passengers took many precautions to stay away from the water. Some people rested on the floor to avoid the water, while others tried to keep themselves dry by using train sheets. After protesting about it, when the train arrived in Jhansi, two or three railway personnel appeared and cleaned the floor where the water was leaking and left after putting a bucket there.
At the same time, the Railway JE, who came to attend the train after receiving the complaint, said that its solution would be found in the railway workshop. Passenger Anil, who was travelling in the Gondwana Express from Jabalpur to Hazrat Nizamuddin, said that water was falling from the roof like a waterfall in coach M-3. Since it was raining in Damoh, water has been continuously falling from the roof of the coach. On complaining about it, some people came to fix it, but the water did not stop.
One passenger named Balpreet said that rainwater was coming from the roof in coach M3. Upon complaining, two-three people came and put a bucket below and went away after cleaning.
Railway JE SH Meena, who came to attend the train after receiving the complaint, said that, “I was informed that water is falling in train 22181. On investigation, it was found that water is dripping lightly. Action will be taken on the railway workshop.”
Passengers breathed a sigh of relief after reaching Delhi station.
