Several footages and news about railway mishaps time and again have surfaced on social media from all across the country. Most recently, a video from Uttar Pradesh’s Amethi shows some railway personnel struggling with a broken-down train coach. The people around captured the video and shared it on social media. Reportedly, the train’s sudden stop at the outskirts had an impact on other train timings. Despite their best efforts, staff were unable to resolve the issue, so they pushed the train.
In the video, several railway officials were seen manually pushing a coach from the main track to the loop track following a technical issue in Uttar Pradesh’s Amethi. The clip showed many staff members crowding along one side of the coach, digging their legs into the rough gravel that surrounds the tracks and forcing it to the station. As per reports, the event occurred in Uttar Pradesh’s Amethi, where a DPC coach, which is mostly used by railway officials for inspection) broke down on the main track near the Nihalgarh Railway Station, causing delays in regular trains.
