Foreigner Woman Orders Tea In Fluent Punjabi, Internet Says 'Better Than Desis'
A video of a foreigner woman ordering tea in fluent Punjabi has surprised everyone on the internet.

Social media has helped people overcome boundaries among nations and helped in cross-cultural exposure globally. Food, language, music, films and more have transpired beyond borders. A pleasant example of this was the amazing Punjabi language skills of a foreigner. The video of this foreigner ordering tea in fluent Punjabi has surprised everyone on the internet. Many individuals were taken aback after she released the video and praised her for her efforts.

The video begins with the woman approaching the counter at a cafe to place her tea order. She asks the store employee whether she can communicate in Punjabi. The video then shows the woman placing her order speaking fluently in the Indian language. The staff was quite surprised by her command over the language, enquired as to where she had learnt it. The foreigner then confessed that she learnt Punjabi in one of her university lectures. At the end of the video, you can see the woman trying the cup of tea and reviewing it in the language as well.

The video has received thousands of views so far and a slew of reactions from netizens.

A user stated, “She speaks Punjabi better than Punjabis living in Delhi," while another said, “Her accent is on an extreme level."

A person exclaimed, “You’re accent makes it extra cute. I mean your overall energy is so adorable." Another individual stated, “Bro adopted the culture."

A person joked, “Give her aadhaar card already." Pointing to how she shared having tea when it’s 27 degrees outside, a person stated, “Indian’s can have chai in even 40 degrees."

This is not the first time a foreigner is adopting Indian cultures. Several such instances can be found on social media. Earlier this year, an American YouTuber visited the famous Golden Temple in Amritsar and was astounded by the friendliness of the Indian Punjabi community. During his vlog of the area, Arieh Smith was observed chatting with strangers. But what stole the show was the YouTuber’s attempt to speak Punjabi. A number of people in his video were taken aback when they saw a foreigner speaking Punjabi, and many of them attempted to ask him where he learnt the language. While answering the question, the YouTuber confessed that he learnt it on the internet.
