Sonarika Bhadoria Set To Get Married With Fiance Vikas Parashar On February 18

Sonarika Bhadoria, best known for her performance as Goddess Parvati in Devon Ke Dev -Mahadev is all set to tie the knot with his fiance, Vikas Parashar. Vikas, who is a businessman by profession, and Sonarika got engaged in 2022. They have decided to hold their wedding ceremony on February 18. Reportedly, the grand event will take place at Sawai Madhopur Ranthambore.

In conversation with Etimes, Sonarika shared that she and Vikas had been dating for about eight years. She mentioned, “When he proposed to me in May 2022 in the Maldives, it was just the two of us. Our families were extremely happy for us, but they also wanted to be a part of the celebration. Vikas prefers everything grand, while I like things simple. As we both love the beach, we had a roka ceremony in Goa. Initially sold at a beach wedding, however, our numerous beach visits led us to opt for Sawai Madhopur, keeping Vikas’s immediate and huge extended family in mind.”

Sonarika shared that the wedding festivities would start about 15 days before the big day with Mata Chowki in Mumbai, and they would have a total of five functions. She shared, “We will conduct the Maira ritual on February 16, followed by mehndi in the evening. The haldi ceremony will be performed the next day, and in the evening, we will host a cocktail party-cum-sangeet.”

Moreover, she stated that the reception would take place in Faridabad, which is Vikas’ hometown. “Vikas and his family are known to almost half the town, and since it’s not feasible to accommodate so many people at the wedding, we have planned a reception in Faridabad,” mentioned Sonarika.

Earlier, the actress shared the news about her engagement through social media. She shared photos of her fiancé Vikas Parashar, proposing to her on a stunning beach. The actor announced this on Vikas’ birthday with a long note for him. The photos showed the two of them dressed in white on a beach, with Vikas down on one knee to propose to Sonarika in the lovely setting.

Sonarika Bhadoria debuted on the television show Tum Dena Saath Mera in 2011. She rose to prominence as Goddess Parvati in Devon Ke Dev Mahadev, which starred Mohit Raina as Lord Shiva. In 2015, the actor made her Telugu cinema debut with Jadoogadu. She returned to Hindi television in 2018, most recently appearing in Ishq Mein Marjawan.
