Debina Bonnerjee has been open about all the struggles she faced during her pregnancy journey. The actress gave birth to her daughters, Lianna and Divisha, in 2022. A few years prior to the birth of her first child, Debina was diagnosed with endometriosis, a condition where endometrial tissue grows outside of the uterine cavity. This can cause extreme pain and bleeding. Although she received treatment for the condition, she recently revealed that it has resurfaced.
Sharing how she is again facing the challenges related to her condition, Debina shared in her vlog that she does not feel like being productive throughout the day. She stated, “Endometriosis is something jo aapka peechha kabhi nahi chhodta (You can’t get rid of Endometriosis so easily).”
Speaking about the treatment, Debina shared, “There’s a small operation that needs to be done. Post that operation, you might feel better for some time, but it comes back. I don’t take any medicine. I prefer not to take any painkillers.”
The actress further shared that her pain during her menstrual cycle was not normal, as she had never experienced it since childhood. Debina mentioned that when she heard others’ concerns, she was blessed that she did not have to go through this. But a few years before her first child was born, Debina started to have pain during her periods. Later, she added, “When my infertility treatments began, I found out I have endometriosis and adenomyosis. It is an abnormal growth on the wall of the uterus and outside of the uterus. The doctor told me I have grade 4 endometriosis and adenomyosis.”
Recently, the pain has returned, and she has been experiencing it for the past 2-3 months. She expressed that it has become unbearable and she fears staying home and resting, as that will make her feel the pain more.
After facing a lot of obstacles, Debina welcomed her first child, Lianna, with Gurmeet Chaudhary through IVF in April 2022. Later, in November 2022, they were blessed with their second child, Divisha. Debina is occupied with motherhood responsibilities and often shares glimpses of her daughters on social media.
