Microsoft’s Xbox Developer Direct, which took place earlier today, is officially over, and it revealed new gameplay and details surrounding previously announced projects, And now, we have a pretty good idea of what to expect from the Xbox camp in terms of its first-party games lineup in 2024.

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle Gets a Gameplay Trailer
We finally have a name for the Xbox and PC exclusive Indiana Jones game: Indiana Jones and the Great Circle. The gameplay revealed that cutscenes and traversal are presented in third-person, while the general gameplay is in first-person. The setting is classic Indiana Jones—ancient temples, a ton of bad guys to defeat, the iconic whip, and fast-paced action. The release date is still up in the air, but it’s coming in 2024.
More Details About Obsidian’s Avowed
Avowed is sure to bring the RPG elements fans have come to expect from Obsidian. The game features a flexible combat system that lets you quickly swap between spellcasting, sharpshooting, and melee combat. You can also combine a slew of weapons, attacks, and abilities to create your own unique fighting style. The game is set to release in the fall of this year.
Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2 Coming Out On May 21
Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2, a follow-up to Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice, is one of the first few Xbox Series X|S games to be announced. The game is expected to have new combat and other improvements. However, Ninja Theory, the developer, has confirmed that the game won’t have a physical release and will only be available digitally.
Visions of Mana, Ara; History Untold On The Way As Well
Square Enix’s Visions of Mana is the first Mana game to release on Xbox, presenting an RPG-style combat. It, too, is coming later this year in Summer. Coming to Ara: History Untold, it will be released on PC and PC GamePass in the fall.
