Motorola has launched the new premium phone with focus on design, bright display and a fast-charging battery.

Motorola Edge 50 Pro has launched in India this week and the premium mid-range bracket gets another contender that buyers can look at if their budget is below Rs 40,000. The latest Motorola phone features a high refresh-rate screen, supports a fast-charging battery and is powered by a Qualcomm AI processor. You also get it with Android 14 out of the box with the promise of multiple OS updates for the consumer and quality cameras on board.

Motorola Edge 50 Pro Price In India

Motorola Edge 50 Pro has launched in India for Rs 31,999 which gets you the base model with 256GB storage and a 68W charger bundled in the box. If you pick the higher model, you pay Rs 35,999 and get a 125W charger in the box.

Motorola Edge 50 Pro Features

Motorola Edge 50 Pro gets a 6.7-inch 1.5K pOLED display that offers 144Hz refresh rate. It also comes with an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance and the vegan leather finish gives it a premium touch. The phone is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. Motorola offers its Hello UI which is near stock Android-like experience with some Moto apps pre-loaded. The company says you will get 3 OS updates and four years of security support.

The device comes equipped with dual stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos. On the imaging front, Motorola Edge 50 Pro has a triple rear camera setup with a 50MP primary sensor with OIS, a 10MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom and a 13MP ultra-wide sensor. The front of the phone gets a 50MP shooter.

The phone packs a 4500mAh battery with support for 125W charging speed and 50W wireless charging is there as well. The point of offering two chargers with different speeds doesn’t make sense to us, especially when the default charging support for the phone is 125W out of the box.
