The Meizu M3 Note is 0.5 mm thinner than the previous generation, while packing a large 4100 mAh battery, which is 32 per cent bigger than the predecessor.

Meizu has introduced its new smartphone - M3 Note - in India. The phone is priced at Rs 9,999 and will be available exclusively on Amazon India. Registrations for the M3 Note, which will go on sale from May 31, begin May 11.

While the Meizu M3 Note was originally introduced in two variants - 16 GB (with 2 GB RAM) and 32 GB (with 3 GB RAM), the Chinese smartphone maker brought only the 32 GB model to India.

Encased in a full metal body, the Meizu M3 Note is powered by a Helio P10 octa-core processor, which is said to have the best EER (energy efficiency ratio) of all Mediatek processors.

"The eight A53 cores ensure the fluency under heavy usage such as playing intensive games. The Mali-T860 64-bit GPU enhances image rendering and multimedia display," explains Meizu.

The Meizu M3 Note is 0.5 mm thinner than the previous generation, while packing a large 4100 mAh battery, which is 32 per cent bigger than the predecessor.

As per the company's claims, the battery on the M3 Note can last 12 hours while multitasking, and under normal use it can last for two days.

It comes with the mTouch 2.1 fingerprint sensor that is claimed to have an unlock speen of 0.2 seconds.

The dual SIM dual standby 4G phone has a 5.5-inch full HD display, 13 megapixel rear camera, 5 megapixel front camera, and an internal storage space of 16 GB. It runs Android-based Flyme OS. It will be available in three colours - grey, silver, and gold.

The Meizu M3 Note will compete against the likes of the Redmi Note 3, LeEco Le 1s, and the Zuk Z1.
