Challenging Star Darshan is among the most popular actors in the Kannada film industry. He is known for his action-packed films. Currently, he is enjoying the success of his recently released film, Kaatera. The film was directed by Tharun Sudhir and hit theatres on December 29, 2023. Upon its release, the film received a tremendous response from the audience and has become a huge hit. In order to celebrate the success of the film, a party was organised by the makers in Bangalore. Now, it has been reported that an FIR has been filed against the owners of the pub where the party was held.
According to reports, the whole team of Kaatera was celebrating its success at a pub in Rajajinagar in Bangalore, Karnataka, when police raided the location and an FIR was filed against the owner of the club. The pub was open longer than its curfew time, and as a result, a case was filed against the owners. Reportedly, the police filed the FIR at the Subramanyanagar police station. It was also reported that everyone was partying in the club, including Darshan. It was also found that the club was open until 3:30 AM, while its curfew time was 12 AM.
There have been a lot of questions raised with the Kaatera team and the pub owners. There have been rumours that drugs and alcohol were also involved in the celebrations. But as of now, there has been no official statement by the police regarding the situation. They have revealed that the CCTV cameras will be checked, and only then will they get any substantial proof.
Recently, a notice was also sent to the pub owners regarding the closing of the spot until further notice.
On the other hand, Kaatera has become a huge hit among the audience. The film has been able to hit the Rs 100 crore mark in just a week of its release. The film is said to be the comeback project of the Challenging Star. Apart from him, the film also stars Aradhana Ram and Jagapathi Babu in lead roles.
