Music composer AR Rahman has once again captured the hearts of Kerala people after taking selfies with fans on the Kochi Metro. Rahman, along with director Blessy and the crew of Aadujeevitham, boarded the Kochi Metro during their visit to Kochi for the website launch of the film.
During the metro ride, AR Rahman graciously obliged fans who expressed their desire to take selfies with him. Rahman had earlier announced during the website launch that the audio release of the film would take place on March 10 at Angamaly Adlux Convention Center, with the theatrical release scheduled for March 28.
Directed by Blessy, Aadujeevitham stars Prithviraj Sukumaran in the lead role of Najeeb, based on the novel Aadujeevitham by Benyamin, which remains one of Malayalam’s bestsellers. Prithviraj’s physical transformation to portray the isolated Najeeb in the desert has left audiences awestruck.
The journey of Aadujeevitham began in 2008, with years of preparation leading up to the commencement of shooting in 2018. Filming, which took the longest duration, concluded on July 14 last year. Significant portions of the film were shot in Jordan.
This film marks a milestone in Prithviraj’s career, with Oscar-winning Rahman composing the music and Rasool Pookkutty handling the sound mixing. Aadujeevitham promises to be a visual treat, produced under the banner of Visual Romance.
Joining Prithviraj and Rahman are Hollywood actors Jimmy Jean-Louis and KR Gokul and Arab actors Talib Al Balushi and Rickabi in pivotal roles. Aadujeevitham will be released not only in Malayalam but also in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Kannada languages.
With cinematography by Sunil KS, editing by Sreekar Prasad, digital marketing by Obscura Entertainments and PR managed by Athira Diljith, the film boasts a stellar team behind the scenes.
As anticipation builds for Aadujeevitham’s release, fans eagerly await the audio launch and subsequent theatrical screening, eager to witness Prithviraj’s transformative performance and experience Rahman’s mesmerising music on the big screen.
