Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Saturday visited the Medanta Hospital in Patna after complaining of severe pain in his hand. The Chief Minister reportedly received treatment in the orthopaedic department of the Hospital.
As per the latest update, Kumar has now returned to his residence after consultation with doctors.
As per media reports, the Chief Minister stayed at the hospital for about 1 hour. Doctors prescribed him medication after necessary examinations before he was discharged.
The cause of his pain was not immediately known.
Earlier, Kumar fell ill on May 14, following which a team of doctors attended to him at the CM’s residence.
On political from, the Bihar Chief Minister has been extensively busy in view of the Lok Sabha elections 2024. His party Janata Dal-United (JD-U) defied all election predictions and won 12 of the 16 seats it contested under the National Democratic Alliance (NDA).
