New Delhi: In Karnataka, the BJP is in damage control mode to save its coalition government with the JD(S).

Deputy Chief Minister and BJP leader B S Yediyurappa has dismissed reports that the government is on its way out.

“I will sit with the CM (H D Kumaraswamy) and we will resolve all our problems. I have full faith in the CM,” Yediyurappa told CNN-IBN.

Yediyurappa has said the coordination committee meeting would be called soon to sort out differences within the coalition. He said the BJP would not cross the limit.

Speculation has been rife over the fate of the government after former chief minister and Congress leader Dharam Singh talked of a possible coalition with JD (S).

Even Deve Gowda threatened to pull out, accusing the BJP of not following the coalition dharma.

He has cautioned that both the BJP must follow the spirit of coalition dharma and if they didn't, the JD(S) would rethink its ties with the BJP.

“Rajdharma must be followed by the BJP and the JD(S). It's their own arrangement not by the permission of any national leadership,” he told CNN-IBN.
