The State Bank of India (SBI)has released the Probationary Officer (PO) prelims exam 2023 result on the official website at sbi.co.in. Candidates who took the recruitment test may download the SBI PO prelims result 2023 by entering their registration number, and password on the SBI portal.

The SBI PO Prelims 2023 test was held on November 1, 4, and 6. The SBI PO prelims exam comprised 100-mark objective questions that were administered online using a computer-based testing system. The SBI recruiting campaign intends to fill 2,000 Probationary Officer positions across its departments.

SBI PO PRELIMS RESULT 2023 RELEASED, WHAT’S NEXT?

Those who clear the prelims exam will next be called for the PO main exam. This exam will be held on December 5 and will consist of objective exams for 200 marks and descriptive questions worth 50 marks. Following the completion of the objective test, the descriptive test will be given, and applicants will be required to input their responses into a computer.

The objective test will be of three hours duration consisting of four sections. The objective test will have separate timing for every section. Candidates are required to qualify in each of the sections by securing passing marks, which will be decided by SBI.

The descriptive test will be of 30 minutes duration consisting of 50 marks. It will be a test of English Language (Letter Writing and Essay). Candidates must note that descriptive test papers of only those candidates will be evaluated who have scored qualifying marks in the objective tests and are placed adequately high as per total marks in the objective test.

For every wrong answer, one-fourth of the marks will be deducted. If a question is left blank, there will be no negative marking for that question. The result of the main exam is expected to be released in December/January. The last stage of the PO recruiting exam includes a psychometric test, a group exercise, and an interview.
