The Indian Air Force (IAF) has carried out a successful test of its Surface to Surface version of the Brahmos Missile near the Eastern Seaboard archipelago. The missile fire was successful and the mission achieved all its objectives.

BrahMos Aerospace, a joint venture between DRDO and the Joint Stock Company “Military Industrial Consortium” of Russia, congratulated the IAF for successfully carrying out a precision-strike launch of the BrahMos surface-to-surface variant which has hit the ‘Bull’s Eye’ meeting all mission parameters.

It reiterated its commitment to strengthen the firepower of Indian armed forces and continue to be the flagbearer of “Atmanirbhar Bharat”.
The company, BrahMos Aerospace, was established in 1998 and is responsible for designing, developing, producing and marketing the BrahMos supersonic cruise missile.
