The festive fervour in the country is in full swing. The auspicious occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi will conclude in a couple of days, and more and more people are trying to seek blessings before the Lord bids farewell. Among them is actor Ayushmann Khurrana, who is spending time with his family as they commemorate the festival. Recently, the actor, along with his wife Tahira Kashyap and children Virajveer and Varushka, were seen visiting the famous Ganpati Pandal in Mumbai, Lalbaughcha Raja.
The paparazzi spotted Ayushmann and his family as they decided to pay a visit to Mumbai’s famed Lalbaugcha Raja to seek Lord Ganesha’s blessings. In the clip shared on social media, the actor and his family were seen flanked by security, who guided them to the main area. While Tahira Kashyap held the children close, Ayushmann waved back at his fans and later performed the darshan. The entire family decided to dress in traditional Indian outfits during their visit. Ayushmann wore a simple white kurta with blue trousers. His son was also seen wearing a similar outfit. Tahira was dressed in a pink and gold outfit, while their daughter was dressed in a red and yellow kurta-pyjama set.
Ayushmann Khurrana also celebrated the festival at his home in a very understated and eco-friendly way. They placed a homemade idol on a marigold-adorned throne. The actor, his wife Tahira, and family members could be seen standing before their deity with their hands folded. Sharing a glimpse of celebrations at his home, the actor wrote, “Celebrating the eco-way with the most friendly God. May He bless everyone with love and abundance.” Ayushmann wore a three-piece traditional ensemble consisting of a kurta, pyjamas, and a matching jacket for the occasion. Tahira looked stunning with a sleeveless blouse and a blush pink saree.
On the professional front, Ayushmann Khurrana was last seen in the film Dream Girl 2 along with Ananya Panday which performed well at the box office. Recently, he has been granted the Time 100 Impact award as well. Upon receiving the award, the actor said, “What else can I say? My intent has always been right and my father is blessing me from above. It’s a huge validation of my genuine efforts to disrupt across my filmography,” as quoted by The Hindustan Times.
