People in India are observing the auspicious festival of Navratri these days. By the end of Navratri, Ram Navami will be celebrated on April 17. It is one of the most sacred festivals ,which marks the birth of Lord Ram. In such a case, the holy city, Ayodhya holds an immense significance as it is the birthplace of Lord Ram. Ahead of the event in Ayodhya this year, the lead characters of the television show Atal – Neha Joshi and Ashutosh Kulkarni – visited the holy city to witness the preparation of the mega event. As per the reports, this marked to be their first-ever visit to Ayodhya.
While talking to News18 about this, Neha Joshi said: “As a devotee of Lord Ram, getting an opportunity to visit the city and the sacred temple is no less than a dream coming true.” She added, “I will never forget this experience of standing in front of the idol of Ram Lalla.”
Further talking about the experience, Neha mentioned that her eyes were filled with tears of joy when she saw the divine face of Lord Ram. Neha stated that when she was offering prayers and seeking blessings, it was difficult for her to avert her gaze from the divinity in front.
Ashutosh expressed, ” Ram Navami is observed across the world with great enthusiasm and devotion. In Ayodhya, the festivities are predominantly grand.” He further mentioned that he felt fortunate to have a visit to the temple and seek blessings. The chance to witness the preparation ahead of the grand celebration is auspicious and surreal.
Atal is a Hindi-language television drama show that narrates the biographical journey of the Former Prime Minister of India, Atal Bihari Vajpayee. It features Vyom Thakkar as Young Atal, Neha Joshi as Krishna Devi Vajpayee, Ashutosh Kulkarni as Krishna Bihar Vajpayee, Milind Dastane as Shyam Lal Vajpayee, and Rahul Jethva as Awadh Bihari Vajpayee among others.
The show premiered on December 5, 2023. It has been written by Shanti Bhushan and has been backed by Aarrav Jindal under Euphoria Productions.
