Akshay Kumar’s Khel Khel Mein marks his comeback to the comedy scene in the films. Set to release on August 15, the film’s trailer was unveiled today in a special event, hosted by the makers. The star cast of the film including Akshay Kumar, Fardeen Khan and Pragya Jaiswal among others were in attendance. The trailer launch event was nothing short of entertainment, thanks to Akshay and his spontaneous personality.
In a video that has been making rounds on the Internet, Akshay Kumar can be seen indulging in fun-filled moments with paparazzi. Sneaking a peek at a paparazzo’s WhatsApp, Akshay read out loud his messages, uncovering some secrets about their tips and sources. The actor seemingly had a blast at the event, leaving everyone in splits. For the special day, he was dressed formally, exuding effortless style. Khel Khel Mein’s plot centers around seven friends reuniting for a dinner party but there is a twist. The submission of their phones leads to the unraveling of hidden truths about each other, setting the stage for a thrilling and hilarious ride. As it can be seen in the trailer, the comedy-drama promises a fun yet emotional journey. It features a stellar cast including Vaani Kapoor, Taapsee Pannu, Fardeen Khan, Ammy Virk, Pragya Jaiswal and Aditya Seal besides Akshay Kumar. What further adds to the hype is the reunion of Akshay and Fardeen after their previous collaboration for Heyy Babyy.
Jointly backed by T-Series Films, Wakaoo Films and KKM Film Production, Khel Khel Mein is directed by Mudassar Aziz. The film is scheduled to hit the theatres on August 15, 2024, coinciding with the release of Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao starrer Stree 2.
