Sonakshi Sinha's Brother REACTS To Her Wedding Rumours With Zaheer Iqbal: 'I Have No Involvement'

Sonakshi Sinha’s brother Luv Sinha broke his silence on his sister’s wedding rumours with Zaheer Iqbal. It is being said that the actress will tie the knot with her longtime beau on June 23, 2024. Recently, Luv was asked about the wedding rumours when he refused to reveal any details. “I’m out of Mumbai at the moment, and if it’s regarding the news published, I have no comment or involvement in the matter,” he told ETimes.

Earlier today, Sonakshi’s father, actor-politician Shatrughan Sinha was also asked about the wedding rumours when he shared that the actress hasn’t told him anything. He added that kids these days do not ask for permission to marry. Instead, they just inform parents of their decision.

“I am in Delhi right now. After the election results, I flew down here. I haven’t spoken to anyone about my daughter’s plans. So your question is, is she getting married? The answer is that she hasn’t told me anything about it. Main bhi utna hi jaanta ho jitna main media maine padha hai. If and when she takes me into confidence, my wife and I will give the couple my blessings. We wish her all happiness always,” Shatrughan told Times Now.

“I am being asked by people close to me why I am not aware of this (the supposed wedding), and the media is aware of it. All I can say is, aaj kal ke bachche consent nahin lete maa-baap ke, sirf inform karte hain. We are waiting to be informed,” he added.

While Sonakshi and Zaheer have not confirmed their wedding as of now, if reports are to be believed, they have been planning the wedding for a while now. However, due to the recent Lok Sabha elections, the couple had to delay her plans. Sonakshi’s father, Shatrugan Sinha was contesting in this election from Asansol, West Bengal from TMC party.

Meanwhile, News18 Showsha has exclusively learnt that Sonakshi and Zaheer’s wedding won’t really be an intimate affair as it will see some of the biggest names in Bollywood gracing their big day to shower blessings and love on the couple. A source close to the couple told us that actors Aayush Sharma, Huma Qureshi and Varun Sharma are likely to attend the wedding. Besides this, Salman Khan has also been sent an invitation. Sonakshi has also invited her Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar co-stars including Fardeen Khan, Taha Shah Badussha, Aditi Rao Hydari and Sharmin Segal Mehta among others.
