Salman Khan is known for sharing a very strong bond with his father, screenwriter-producer Salim Khan. From accompanying his father to almost every event to showing immense care and respect for him, the actor’s feelings for his father are nothing but dripping with love and admiration. His latest post is yet another proof of Salman Khan and his father’s adorable connection. The father-son duo recently attended the trailer launch of Angry Young Men with their other family members in Mumbai. Sharing a picture from the event, the Tiger 3 actor could be seen posing with his “Dadlee” father.
On both his Instagram and X handles, Salman shared the photo with Salim Khan where he stands behind his father, who remains seated on a chair. “DadLee Man – My Father God,” he wrote. While Salman opted for a full-sleeved black Tee with faded jeans, the veteran screenwriter chose a light shirt with white trousers and a puffer jacket.

What Is Angry Young Men About?
A collaborative effort among Salman’s Salman Khan Films, Farhan Akhtar’s Excel Entertainment and Zoya Akhtar’s Tiger Baby Films, Angry Young Men will explore the “untold story” of legendary Salim Khan and Javed Akhtar, aka Salim-Javed, and their revolutionary storytelling. They are known for leading blockbusters like Zanjeer, Sholay and Deewar.

The trailer for the three-part documentary was recently unveiled, showing many celebrities sharing their views and ideas about the dynamic Salim-Javed. “This is the first one where I’m actually nervous,” Salman says at the beginning of the video, while Farhan Akhtar adds, “The only reason I knew that my Dad wrote those films is because he was my Dad.”
The trailer cuts to show iconic clips from their memorable films along with interviews from stars like Aamir Khan, Hrithik Roshan, Karan Johar, Shabana Azmi and the legendary Amitabh Bachchan, who took on several iconic roles in their films. Angry Young Men releases on Amazon Prime Video on August 20.
