Guruvayoorambala Nadayil stars Prithviraj Sukumaran and Basil Joseph in the lead roles.

The release teaser of Malayalam film Guruvayoorambala Nadayil was released on Wednesday. Directed by Vipin Das, the film stars Prithviraj Sukumaran and Basil Joseph in the lead roles. It is a light-hearted romantic comedy which hit the theatres on May 16, 2024. Written by Deepu Pradeep and directed by Jaya Jaya Jaya Jaya Hey (2022) fame Vipin Das, the new teaser gave a push to advanced bookings. Prithviraj Sukumaran plays the role of Anand, whose sister Anjali (Anaswara Rajan) is supposed to marry Kaitholapparambil Vinu Ramachandran (Basil Joseph). Vinu is hindered on his path to marital bliss and ends up marrying someone other than his fiancee in the Guruvayoor temple; what happens next is depicted in the film. The release teaser shares a glimpse into the story, which seems to be full of comedy. It shows a juxtaposition of various film scenes with a peppy background song and track added to it.

Guruvayoorambala Nadayil, a production by Prithviraj Productions and E4 Entertainment has a clean U censorship and a running time of 2 hours, 14 minutes and 41 seconds. The Saregama label holds the audio rights, Prime Media is releasing the film in the USA.

The technical crew of Guruvayoorambala Nadayil includes Ankit Menon for music, Neeraj Revi for cinematography, Johnkutty for editing, Felix Fukuyoshi Ruwwe for action, Sunil Kumaran for art, DTM VFX for VFX and Aswathy Jayakumar for costumes.

Guruvayoor Ambala Nadayil saw good advance bookings across the world. According to industry experts, the film is likely to clock an advance booking of over Rs 75 crore in Kerala alone.

The makers have confirmed 842 shows in Kerala for the first day. Depending on the first day result and the first show, there are chances of the film being released in more theatres. In Kochi and its suburbs, 165 shows have been chartered across 28 centres.

The film will also be released in Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, USA, Canada, UK and GCC countries. Malayalam cinema enjoys a good fan base and market in these countries.
