Prajakta Mali is a well-known face in the Marathi film and television industry. The beloved actress of Maharashtra has been grabbing the spotlight for her upcoming film Phullwanti, which will also mark her production debut. The actress who has worked in several films that have performed massively at the box office is all set to headline her upcoming film. Her first look from Phullwanti was unveiled a few days ago and now, the makers have dropped the teaser which has sent her fans into a frenzy.
The one-minute and seven-second teaser of Phullwanti has the undivided attention of the internet. The teaser featured dialogues that will immediately strike a chord with the audience and the dance performances are bound to leave viewers in awe. Her fans are fascinated by the teaser and a few have called it “stunning". One comment read, “What a promising teaser! Phullwanti is based on the historical literary work drama by Padma Vibhushan Babasaheb Purandare by the same name. The film is slated to release on October 11. It will mark the directorial debut of Snehal Tarde and is backed by Kumar Mangat Pathak, Abhishek Pathak, Mangesh Pawar, Shweta Mali and Prajakta Mali under the banners of Panorama Studios, Mangesh Pawar & Company and Shivoham Creations Pvt. Ltd. The film will star Prajakta Mali in the title role with Gashmeer Mahajani. The film is set in the Peshwa era and narrates the story of a famous courtesan, Phullwanti and the renowned Peshwa Pandit scholar Venkat Shastri.
Just a few days back, Prajakta Mali shared a clip of her upcoming film on her birthday which delighted the audience. She posted the video on her Instagram handle and captioned it, “Releasing on October 11, 2024. Get ready to be charmed. ‘Phullwanti’ Coming to theatres near you. On the work front, Prajakta Mali was last seen in the 2023 film Teen Adkun Sitaram.
