Love In Vietnam: First Look Of Shantanu Maheshwari, Avneet Kaur’s Film Unveiled At Cannes 2024
The first poster of Love in Vietnam showcases the three protagonists with Shantanu Maheshwari and Avneet Kaur lost in each other’s eyes and Kha Ngan playing a guitar.

Shantanu Maheshwari is among the stars who attended the 77th Cannes Film Festival. The actor reached the French Riviera to unveil the first look of his upcoming film Love in Vietnam. He was joined by his co-stars Avneet Kaur and Vietnamese actress Kha Ngan during the launch. Giving a peek into the event and the first look of the upcoming India-Vietnam collaboration project, Shantanu also dropped a post on his Instagram handle on Thursday.

The first poster of Love in Vietnam includes the three protagonists with Shantanu and Avneet lost in each other’s eyes and Kha playing a guitar. Hinting at a complex love story between the Gangubai Kathiawadi actor and Tiku Weds Sheru actress, the second poster featured them both looking in opposite directions. Below them is Kha’s picture as she looks at the camera, adding the required depth to the poster.

Dropping the poster, Shantanu wrote, “Thrilled to unveil the first look of our film #LoveInVietnam at Cannes! I’m excited to finally be able to share this, our groundbreaking India-Vietnam collaboration! Written & Directed by Rahhat Shah Kazmi. Produced by Omung Kumar, Rahhat Shah Kazmi, Captain Rahul Bali, Abhishek Ankur. Co produced by Tariq Khan, Zeba Sajid, Samten Hills, and Associate Producer Vikas Sharma. More exciting things are on the way!”

For the film’s launch event at Cannes, the cast and crew were dressed in white ensembles. In one of the pictures, we can see both Shantanu and Avneet twinning in white outfits as they held the posters in their hand, posing for the paps. Shantanu sported an Indo-western launch and wore an embellished jacket with plane-matched trousers. On the other hand, Avneet was a vision in white as she picked a dreamy ensemble for her special day.

The film marks the production debut of Omung Kumar. Based on the bestseller Madonna in A Fur Coat, it is produced under the banners of Blue Lotus Creatives, Rahhat Kazmi Film Studios, Innovations India, and Lensflare Entertainment. It is also supported by the Consulate General of India in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, the Consulate General of Vietnam in Mumbai and Vietnam Airlines.
