Unexpectedly, Lady Gaga was recently spotted with an engagement ring, fuelling speculation about being engaged. While this was not enough, the actress-singer even went on to introduce her boyfriend of four years as “my fiance” while talking to French Prime Minister Gabriel Attal.

While everyone is eagerly waiting for a formal announcement by Lady Gaga, a close source to the singer has revealed that they got engaged during the spring. “Lady Gaga and Michael have been engaged since the spring. They’re both extremely happy and excited about this moment in their relationship,” ET reported, quoting the insider. Apart from that, while they got engaged “several months ago,” it was decided to keep the news within their close circle, another source told People.

“The couple shared the happy news with family and close friends right away but wanted to keep the engagement private otherwise. Everyone’s excited about them getting married. She is the happiest with Michael, and they are great together. Michael is excited and supportive of her career,” it added. Beside wedding plans, the report mentioned that the couple also looks forward to expanding their family.

The Bad Romance singer went public with their romance in 2020 during the Super Bowl weekend. She shared a cosy picture with Polansky, a tech entrepreneur, and wrote, “We had so much fun in Miami. Love to all my little monsters and fans, you’re the best!”

She is pictured sitting on Polansky’s lap, enjoying a boat trip in Miami. Prior to this, they initially sparked romance rumours after they were spotted kissing at a New Year’s Eve party.
