Mahesh Babu has been prepping over and beyond for his next film, tentatively titled SSMB 29 with SS Rajamouli. Ahead of the film’s shooting, the actor was recently seen sporting a new look with a beard and long hair. Otherwise known for keeping his looks unchanged, the actor took fans by surprise with the never-seen avatar. Mahesh Babu, along with his wife, Namrata Shirodkar, recently paid a visit to Telangana Chief Minister Revanth to hand over his donation to the CM Relief Fund.
CM Revanth shared pictures of their meeting on social media, instantly grabbing fans’ attention. The husband-wife duo could be seen posing with the CM as they deliver a Rs 50 lakh cheque, extending their help to the flood survivors in the state.

While his philanthropic gesture received a lot of support, fans couldn’t help but take note of his hairstyle. While some jokingly compared him to Jesus Christ, some wondered if his look takes inspiration from Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal. The actor has been growing out his hair and beard for quite some time now. He was mostly seen keeping his head covered with caps in recent pictures. However, now it seems Mahesh Babu is ready to tease fans about his upcoming venture.
He was dressed casually in a full-sleeve white t-shirt with jeans as he arrived at the CM’s residence.
Mahesh Babu was last seen in Trivikram Srinivas-directed Guntur Kaaram. He is now ready to team up for Rajamouli’s next with the story penned by Vijayendra Prasad. PS Vinod will lead as the cinematographer.
Details about the film have been currently kept under wraps, but reports suggest that it might go on the floors by next month.
