Imran Khan and Genelia D’Souza starrer Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na has completed 16 years. The film, which is considered a cult classic , still holds a special place in the hearts of the fans. And on its 16th anniversary makers drop a video featuring all the characters singing the title track. The video immediately went viral and fans went on a nostalgic trip. They demanded the re-release of the film. And reaction to the same, Imran Khan also started a petition.

He took to the comment section and wrote, “@double_maska_pav can we petition @aamirkhanproductions to make this happen?” Shared on the Instagram handle of Aamir Khan Productions, the video begins with Imran, who takes the lead, followed by others who sing their parts separately in different places. While Genelia takes over as Aditi, we can also spot Meghna, aka Manjari Fadnis, Jiggy (Nirav Mehta), Bombs (Alishka Varde), and, of course, Rotlu (Karan Makhija) making surprise entries in the song.

Released in 2008, this coming-of-age college drama was a refreshing addition to Bollywood. Starring Imran Khan and Genelia D’Souza as Jai and Aditi, the film struck a chord with audiences, becoming a beloved romantic comedy. Adding to the drama is Jai’s royal backstory. The movie also featured Naseeruddin Shah and Ratna Pathak Shah in pivotal roles.

Imran Khan is preparing to make his Bollywood comeback after a nine-year break, marking a significant moment in his career. Although it was earlier reported that Imran would star in Vir Das’ directorial debut, Happy Patel, he quickly dismissed the rumours. He told Times Entertainment, “It’s not true. Vir Das is directing and starring in Happy Patel. I am not in the film. They have just used a photograph of me as part of an in-film joke.” This left Imran Khan’s fans disheartened, who are eagerly awaiting his comeback after a long gap. He was last seen in Katti Batti in 2015.
