Indrajith Sukumaran, the elder brother of Prithviraj Sukumaran, was recently seen in the Malayalam film Marivillin Gopurangal. It was released in theatres worldwide on May 10. Not even a week has passed and the actor has announced his next film with the cinematographer turned director Nitish KTR. It is titled Kaalante Tangakudam. The makers have now released the first look poster of the film. Apart from Indrajith Sukumaran, the film also stars actors Saiju Krurup, Aju Varghese, Indrans, Vijay Babu, Greg, Johny Antony and Vijay Babu in prominent roles. The film is produced by Vijay Babu under the banner of Friday Film House. The music of the film is composed by Rahul Raj. The first-look poster of the film is now going viral.
The film was announced with a special first-look poster that features Indrajith as Yama, a Hindu god of death and justice. As per the poster, Saiju Kurup is expected to play the role of Chitragupt, a close associate of Lord Yama who is believed to keep the record of all human beings and their karmas. In the poster, Indrajith Sukumaran is seen sitting on a buffalo, the ride of Yama while Saiju Kurup is standing beside him in the outfit of Chitragupt. Numerous other characters like a priest, inspector, sage and others are present on the poster. From the poster, the film is expected to be a period comedy. The story is expected to revolve around a pot of gold. While building the hype and hinting to the fans about the possible story of the film, Indrajith wrote that he is coming for the pot of gold, which may or may not be in the police station.
“The owners of the pot of gold are coming. Received information from official circles that there will be a delay in coming due to some distance and that Thankakudam is not in the police station, but in any hell, they will come and pick it up,” wrote Indrajith while launching the first look poster.
The release date of the film has not been revealed yet by the makers. The shooting of the film is expected to start soon.
