The director Mari has talked about the Bison’s plot in an interview with the Times of India. According to him, “The film will revolve around kabaddi. But, contrary to reports, it’s not a biopic, but a fictional one.” The shooting of Bison has been wrapped up in Tirunelveli, Tamil Nadu and the remaining portions were filmed in Chennai. Mari also said that the title and the tagline Kaalamaadan have significance, which the audience will understand once they watch the film.

The 27-year-old actor added he is extremely thrilled to finally begin shooting his third and most important film with the ‘visionary’ Mari Selvaraj.
