While some social media users grumbled about the sky-high prices, comedian and influencer Saloni Gaur swooped in with a hilarious video, playfully roasting everyone complaining about those pricey concert tickets. In the video, she played two roles: one supporting concert-goers and the other disagreeing. Their conversation started with advice to “spend money wisely.” The comedian then shared how this generation is buying costly tickets worth Rs 10,000 to attend a concert to watch a person sing. She said in Hindi, “Even if you get tickets, your seat will be in such a place from where he will look like an ant.”
Saloni suggested that instead of splurging on concert tickets, fans should invest in a Rs 10k pair of shoes and go anywhere but the show. She joked that you can just enjoy the music on your phone at home, where you can have all the “outside food and water” you want — taking a cheeky jab at the strict concert rules. She also pointed out that concerts come with their own headaches, so why not skip the hassle altogether?
Reacting to this, the other Saloni, who supports concertgoers, asked her, “Aapko nahi mila na ticket. Sold out hogaya na (You didn’t get ticket, right? It was sold out, right?).” She replied, “Nahi aisa nahi hai. Mil jaata mujhe but maine try nahi kiya (No, it’s not that. I would have got, but I didn’t try).”
When the other Saloni said that she had an extra ticket for someone who wanted to go, the other Saloni screamed out, “What?!” The video ended with Saloni smiling and wiping her eyes as Harrdy Sandhu’s song Joker played in the background.
