Fans of the sensational Korean girl group BLACKPINK just received the sweetest surprise from one of the band members. Singer and composer Jennie recently surprised viewers at a special listening event held for Billie Eilish’s new album titled HIT ME HARD AND SOFT. The event, hosted by Spotify, was held on June 18, 2024, at Theatre des Lumieres in Seoul.
This also marked singer Billie Eilish’s return to South Korea after two years. Jennie and Billie Eilish also recreated their memorable hug photo from 2019, sending their fans into a major nostalgia trip. Jennie reportedly hosted a Q&A session with Billie Eilish at the event.

During the Q&A session, Jennie talked to Billie Eilish regarding her new album. Billie explained that she wanted to scream the titles and it seemed to work for her. Further into the conversation, Billie asked Jennie about her favourite song from the album, to which Jennie replied, “BIRDS OF A FEATHER”.
Towards the end of the event, Jennie also asked the Bad Guy singer about her performance as a host. Billie responded by calling Jennie “so perfect” and thanked her.
Another heartwarming moment during the duo’s interaction was when Jennie asked Billie Eilish if she would be willing to host her solo album release event in the future, to which Billie Eilish readily agreed.
