Shweta Tripathi is currently in the news for her splendid performance in Mirzapur season 3. Premiered on Amazon Prime Video on July 5, the series featured Shweta in a never-before-seen avatar. Despite her professional commitments and hectic work schedules, the actress makes sure to keep her fans engaged on social media. Having said that, a new video featuring the Mirzapur star has emerged online. In the clip, Shweta proudly flaunted ethnic grace in a purple saree and we were in awe of the actress.

Shweta Tripathi truly mesmerised her fans with an infectious smile on her fans in the video. Taking a minimal approach, she decked up in an elegant six yards of elegance paired with a half-sleeved blouse. What further added to the grace was a little bindi, nath and gajra adorning her hair. Her stellar poses for the lens are too enchanting to be missed.

Earlier this month, on July 6, Shweta Tripathi celebrated her birthday. She marked the occasion with throwback pictures and videos from the sets of Mirzapur. The first clip attached to the post showcases Shweta cutting the birthday cake with Ali Fazal by her side. In a couple of pictures, she can be seen greeted with several cakes by the cast and crew of the actress. Next, we can see Shweta sharing the frame with Divyenndu and Ali Fazal for an endearing picture.

Accompanying the picture was an elaborate note in Hindi. Loosely translating the caption into English, it read, “Celebrating birthday with Mirzapur family is always special. We were at Lucknow during the shoot of season 2 and at Tripathi Haveli during the shoot of season 3. This time you have given me the best birthday gift! When I decided to be Golu, didn’t think I would get so much love and blessings. Your messages, tags, notes mean a lot! Thank you, shukriya, dhanyavaad.”

Shweta Tripathi rose to fame with her impactful performance in films and web series like Masaan, Kaalkoot, Good Morning Sunshine, Mirzapur and Raat Akeli Hai among others. Throughout her career, she has shared the screen space with some prominent faces like Pankaj Tripathi, Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Radhika Apte. It was her portrayal of Gajagamini aka Golu in Mirzapur that solidified her position in the entertainment industry as a versatile actress.
