Badshah Prefers Swift And Innova Over Rolls-Royce, Calls His Luxury Car ‘Bakwas’

Badshah’s success in the music industry is an inspiration for many. With a large number of hits, he has established himself as a popular singer, rapper and composer in Bollywood. In a recent interview, Badshah opened up about his early life, career, and opportunities that led him to the path of success. Among other things, he also shared his love of cars and shoes. Interestingly, Badshah pointed out how his midrange Indian cars Swift and Innova are way better than his luxury cars.

Badshah shared during an interview with Lallantop that he has a Rolls-Royce worth Rs 8 crore and other luxury cars. Despite having a fancy collection of luxury cars, the singer-rapper claimed no car is as smooth to drive as a Swift or an Innova. When asked about the experience of driving such expensive cars, he said, “Bakwas hai, Swift se badhiya koi gaadi nahi hai (It’s rubbish, no car is better than the Swift). Swift aur Innova se badhiya koi gaadi nahi bani (Swift and Innova are the best cars ever).”

In the same interview, Badshaah was also asked about his sneaker collection and if he really owned 500 pairs. The singer-rapper clarified, “That’s less. I probably have more than 1000. I stopped counting after 500, but when I moved houses, I realised I have more than 1000. I only wear a few of them. The rest are just a part of a collection.”

He shared that he had a sneaker whose current market value is Rs 22 lakh, but he had purchased it earlier for Rs 6 lakh. He stated, “I didn’t buy it as an investment, although lots of people buy watches, shoes, and bags for that reason. I bought that shoe because I’m a sneakerhead. The day I win a Grammy, I’ll wear that shoe.” He added this particular pair is the Nike Yeezy 2. Kanye West collaborated on it with Nike and it is quite important for sneakerheads and street fashion enthusiasts.

Moreover, during this interview, Badshah also shared how the song Saturday for Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania under Dharma Production was a turning point in his career. Later, Karan Johar and Badshah have collaborated on multiple songs in films like Kapoor & Sons, Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, Badrinath Ki Dulhania and Good Newwz.
