Anyone Opposing 'Udta Punjab' is Guilty of Promoting Drugs: Anurag Kashyap
Under political pressure or not, the unwelcoming decision by the Board has received a lot of criticism on Twitter.

CBFC has ordered 'Udta Punjab' makers to remove all the Punjab state references from the film. The Abhishek Chaubey directorial is set in Punjab and deals with the issue of drug abuse in the state.

Under political pressure or not, the unwelcoming decision by the Board has received a lot of criticism on Twitter. While the fans are disappointed by CBFC instruction to set the entire film on some 'fictional place', 'Udta Punjab' producer and filmmaker Anurag Kashyap has vent out his anger through tweets.

He wrote, "There is no film more honest than UDTA PUNJAB .. And any person or party opposing it is actually GUILTY of promoting drugs"

His another tweet compared Korea to the current situation in India, "I always wondered what it felt like to live in North Korea .. Ab to plane pakadney ki bhi zaroorat nahin.."

Commenting further Anurag compared the entire regulation of 'Udta Punjab' to Franz Kafka's Trial. His tweet was, "Joseph Ka Mukadama was a Hindi play adaptation of which famous Czech novel?? We are back there"

While the entire Twitter is losing it on such a decision by CBFC, Kashyap knows how to tackle it with words and sarcasm. Well, he is a veteran in dealing with Censor Board problems and we hope he wins the case this time too.

Meanwhile, 'Udta Punjab' starring Shahid Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Diljit Dosanjh and Kareena Kapoor Khan is set to release on June 17.
