Rajkummar Rao and Alaya F starrer Srikanth Bholla is one of the most successful films. Fans loved this biopic. Released in May, the film received positive reviews from all corners. Well, recently, Alaya F opened up about her character in the film. She portrayed Srikanth Bolla’s wife, Swathi Bolla, while Rajkummar Rao played the visually-impaired businessman Srikanth Bolla.
She has received appreciation for her nuanced and intricate performance from the audiences. Speaking about her preparation for Srikanth, Alaya F shared, “I met the real-life Swathi, who is absolutely lovely. She is Srikanth’s silent strength in many ways. She is very soft-spoken yet very strong. She is lovely, wonderful, loving, and caring. But the character that was written is very out-there, exuberant, bright, and talkative. The real Swathi is all of that but in a much more demure, soft, and silent way. At least that’s what I gathered from my interactions with her at that time. So, I had a big conflict in my head because when you meet someone you are supposed to play, you are really observing the way they are, but there were some creative liberties taken on paper.”

Directed by Tushar Hiranandani and produced by Bhushan Kumar under T-series and Chalk and Cheese Productions, Srikanth is a story of visually impaired industrialist Srikanth Bolla, founder of Bollant Industries. The story of Srikanth revolves around the challenges that are faced by Srikanth and how he overcomes the obstacles that come his way.
It also features Jyothika and Sharad Kelkar in important roles. The movie opened to positive reviews from viewers and critics. But, despite that, the film does not seem to be making much money. It maintained a steady pace on days 5, 6 and 7 by earning Rs 1.65, Rs 1.6 and Rs 1.45 crore.
Many celebrities have praised him and the new one to join the trend is Akshay. He praised the film and asked Rajkummar Rao that he should start giving acting classes.
