Ajith Kumar is a well-known face in the world of the Tamil Film industry. Currently, the actor is busy filming for his upcoming film Good Bad Ugly directed by Adhik Ravichandran. In a recent development, it looks like the director is aiming for a top actress to play the role of the female lead in the film alongside Ajith Kumar. Earlier, actors like Simran and Meena were selected to play the lead. The talks broke down due to undisclosed reasons. According to the latest reports, South actress Nayanthara is set to be seen opposite Ajith in the film Good Bad Ugly. The duo has worked together in four films earlier. Fans will wait eager to see their favourite duo on the screen again.
Nayanthara was seen alongside Ajith in films like Billa, Aegan, Arrambam and Viswasam. Each of the films was highly praised by the audience. Nayanthara is a renowned face in the South. She has worked in various successful movies like Jawan, Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kaadhal, Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy, Naanum Rowdy Thaan and Aramm. The famous actress was seen sharing the screen with many top actors like Shah Rukh Khan, Vijay Sethupathi, Deepika Padukone, Anupam Kher and Chiranjeevi.
According to reports, the famous actress is charging around Rs 10 crore for her role in the movie alongside Ajith Kumar. The storyline of the film is reportedly penned by director Adhik Ravichandran. The film is set to be produced by Elred Kumar, Y. Ravi Shankar, and Naveen Yerneni under the banner of Mythri Movie. The music of the film is composed by National Award-winning music composer Devi Sri Prasad.
As per earlier reports, the popular OTT platform Netflix has acquired the digital rights of the film for a whopping Rs 95 crore. The official statement of this development is yet to be released. The shooting of the film is presently held in Hyderabad. It is expected to be released at the start of 2025.
