Sabyasachi, Gaurav Gupta Designs Shine On Emmys 2024 Red Carpet

Indian craftsmanship made a statement at the 76th Primetime Emmy Awards 2024.

American actress Laura Dern, actor and executive producer of Emmy-nominated Outstanding Comedy Series, Palm Royale, graced the red carpet in a black off-shoulder gown. The highlight of Laura’s red carpet look was the modern heirloom necklace from Sabyasachi High Jewellery. The necklace is from Sabyasachi’s Animal Ball edition and pays homage to endangered animals.

Crafted in gold in a unique combination of Indian heritage crafts, the necklace comes together with tropical flora and fauna. The palm grove, the tiger head, and the floral pendant stood out in the gold necklace which was enhanced with gemstones and fine diamonds.

A coming together of crafts celebrated by Laura and Sabyasachi, the palm pendant also did kind of resonate with Laura’s film Palm Royale. Known for championing Indian craftsmanship on global platforms, this necklace was indeed a showstopper in Laura’s red carpet look. Laura was joined by actress Reese Witherspoon on the red carpet.

Speaking of Indian craftsmanship, Mindy Kaling graced the 76th Primetime Emmy Awards 2024 in a couture gown designed by globally acclaimed couturier Gaurav Gupta.

A red carpet favorite among international celebrities, Gaurav celebrated his craftsmanship at the Emmys. Mindy looked ethereal in the sculpted off-shoulder gown with tone one-tone embellishments that added a hint of sparkle to the monochrome look.

The couture gown is from Gaurav’s Spring/Summer 2024 collection, Aarohanam, which he showcased at Paris Couture Week. Gaurav’s signature sculpting art meanders throughout the collection, and the tailored textiles are made richer with Indigenous techniques like Badla, Mukaish, and Zardozi peeping through multi-dimensional crystals greeting luminescence.

Mindy was one of the presenters at the Emmys this year and took to Instagram, to share some precious moments at the event. Styled by Jenna Anne, Mindy’s impeccable stylish look was accessorized with jewellery from Wempe, her hair was styled by  Nai’vasha Grace, and her makeup was done by Eva Kim.

Honoring the best in television programmes and performances, the 76th Primetime Emmy Awards red carpet saw glamorous styles take centre stage. Hosted at the Peacock Theatre in Los Angeles, California, the 76th edition of the Emmy Awards is being streamed on Lionsgate Play in India.
