The Sangeet cermeony of Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra is what dreams are really made of. Priyanka Chopra was seen dancing gracefully with her family and friends in an handcrafted silver and gold sequins saree draped on to a golden blouse by the designer duo Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla.
Styled by Ami Patel, on the jewellery front the bride wore a diamond choker which enhanced her bridal saree even more.
On the other hand, Nick Jonas went full Bollywood with his dance moves in an electric blue Sherwani with silk thread detailing, a matching silk jacket with silver chudidaar and blue loafers to go along with.
The actress took to Instagram to share insights from the function. Apart from the couple, Nick's brother Joe Jonas can be seen singing at the occasion while his fiancee Sophie Turner and Parineeti Chopra prepared a solo dance for the couple. Priyanka's mother Madhu Chopra also was seen shaking a leg.
Giving out details about the Sangeet ceremony, Priyanka wrote, "It all began as a fierce song & dance competition between the families but ended, as always, as a huge celebration of love." She also elaborated the families, narrated the stories through their dance performances.
Yesterday, The Quantico star donned a traditional multi hued lehenga and a crop top with flamenco sleeves weaved by the ace designers duo Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla inspired by the AJSK collection for her Mehendi ceremony.
She teamed the colorful quirky ensemble with heirloom jewellery by Jani-Khosla's own Jewellery line Saboo at AJSK.
The groom, Nick Jonas, looked adorable and dapper in aqua Bakhia kurta and jutthis. He also had mehendi smeared on his hands with Priyanka's name on it.
Reportedly, on October 6, she arranged a meeting with the designer-duo Sandeep Khosla and Abu Jani to discuss her outfits for the D-day.
In the past, Priyanka has already been spotted wearing Khosla-Jani twice with Nick Jonas. She donned a yellow Salwar-suit for her Roka ceremony and a red saree for an event crafted by the ace designers.
A source close to the actress told a portal earlier, “Priyanka and Nick will get hitched as per Hindu customs and the actress has roped in Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla to design her wedding lehenga. She met the designer duo on October 6 to finalise the designs. The meeting went on for 6 hours.”
The designer duo and the couple took to their Instagram handle to post the cheerful pictures of the bride and groom.
