Bipasha Basu Accused of Unprofessionalism By The Organisers of a UK-based Fashion Show

Actress Bipasha Basu has been accused of being unprofessional by the organisers of a UK-based fashion show. The actress, who is currently in London with her husband Karan Singh Grover, was supposed to walk the ramp for India Pakistan London Fashion Show. But the organisers claim that she didn’t turn up despite them meeting all her demands.

The talent scout of the show, Ronita Sharma Rekhi, penned down an elaborate post on social media and blamed the actress for ‘cheating, tricking and fooling’ them. She further mentioned that the actress “wanted her husband to fly out to London with her and wanted their stay be extended to five nights, which was originally for three nights only."

Without mentioning Bipasha’s name, Ronita claimed that they “fulfilled her unwanted demands for her and her so called actor/wannabe husband." She wrote about the hassles they had to go through to book a suite for the two, extend the duration, and provide air fares and sim cards.

She questioned the actress’ work ethics and maintained that she isn’t scared to speak up because “a woman who has no respect for others and is cruel is not a heroine for me."

To this, an infuriated Bipasha took to Twitter to quash the allegations. She referred to Ronita as a ‘con woman’ and wrote, “15 years you don't last any business being unprofessional. You last because you are clear and particular and have self respect."

The spat got ugly when Ronita decided to challenge Bipasha after reading her tweet. “I’m here to fight with you woman", she said in another Facebook post.

“I don't know how you survived 15 years but in my eyes you could not survive 15 min even as a Human," she added.

She further cited incidents of other stars being cordial and cooperative and urged that “someone needs to stop the unnecessary demands raised by celebrities".
