Park Eun-bin and ASTRO’s Cha Eun-woo, who previously co-hosted the Seoul Drama Awards in 2021, are set to team up again for a new drama, tentatively titled, The Wonder Fools. The upcoming series, which will explore the lives of imperfect superheroes, will be directed by Yoo In-shik. The series was initially titled The B Team. Its concept was originally developed by the late legendary comic book writer Stan Lee. The show is reportedly in the early stages of production. Both Eun Bin and Eun Woo are in talks with the producers and a formal announcement is expected soon. Interestingly, the upcoming drama will also mark Park Eun-bin ’s second project with Yoo In-shik, who collaborated with the director in the hit series Extraordinary Attorney Woo.

While Park Eun-bin ’s agency, Namoo Actors, hasn’t confirmed her involvement in the show, Fantagio, the agency representing Cha Eun-woo, has stated that the K-pop idol has received an offer for the drama and is currently reviewing the script. As per an official statement shared by Isplus, his agency stated, “The drama, The Wonder Fools (working title) is a project for which Cha Eun-woo has received an offer and is currently reviewing positively.”

Meanwhile, if both stars agree to join The Wonder Fools, Park Eun-bin will play the lead role of Lee Woon Jung and Cha Eun-woo will appear as Eun Chae-ni. According to Soompi, the upcoming drama will focus on the lives of flawed superheroes who struggle with unpredictable superpowers.

Before this, Cha Eun-woo had starred in The Wonderful World which concluded in April. Cha Eun-woo also engaged with fans through his 2024 fan concert, Just One 10 Minute and made headlines with his appearance at Waterbomb Seoul 2024 on July 5th.

Talking about attending the event for the first time with GQ Korea, the ASTRO star said, “Actually, I was very nervous there. I wondered if it was okay for me to be there. So I couldn’t hear the audience’s cheering very well at the time. After coming off the stage, I saw the fan reactions, and I realised that there was a huge cheer and support. But on stage, I didn’t know at all. I was just super nervous.”

Meanwhile, actress Park Eun-bin was part of the popular Kdrama Castaway Diva.
