In 2013, Navanit Lal of BJP emerged victorious in this seat beating Nanalal Ninama of INC by a margin of 27,198 votes which was 15.21% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP had a vote share of 52.25% in the seat.
In the 2008 elections, Nanalal of IND won this seat beating Navneetlal of BJP by a margin of 20,622 votes which was 14.61% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP had a vote share of 37.73% in the seat.
