'Rendavathu Padam' is a film that is much awaited by filmmaker CS Amudhan. The director had earlier floored the audience with his debut in Kollywood, 'Tamizh Padam', a spoof entertainer.
Vimal, Aravind Aakash of 'Goa' and 'Mankatha' fame and Ajith's brother-in-law, Richard play the lead roles in this movie, to be produced by Dharani under the Screen Care Entertainment banner in which Vijayalakshmi is the heroine.
The background score of 'Rendavathu Padam' is by music composer Kannan, stunts is by Dileep Subbarayan and cinematography is by Vijay Ulaganathan. And according to the director, 'Rendavathu Padam' is no spoof.
The latest on the film is that a single from its music album will be out soon. This song is titled 'Adutha Paruppu' and is sung by Vijay Prakash, Mukesh and Rahul Nambiar.
