Summit in Bangalore

BANGALORE:  Distinguished scientist Dr V Prakash along with M N Vidyashankar, Principal Secretary of the Department of IT, BT and Science and Technology announced the dates for the 7th Nutra India Summit which will be held in Bangalore between the 15-17 March 2012.Speaking at a seminar to discuss developments in the field of Nutraceuticals and Nutritionals, Dr Prakash said that there is a synergy between the pharmaceutical and nutritional industries today. “We must look at what the consumer needs and not just at what we can offer them,” he added explaining the need for marketing in the industry. He also stressed on the need for proper research in the industry. Asking customers to eat less did not constitute research.
