New Delhi The Samajwadi Party leaders headed by Amar Singh are meeting President APJ Abdul Kalam on Wednesday demanding the recall of Uttar Pradesh Governor TV Rajeswar.
According to the MPs the Governor was also very critical of the way the state government handled the incidents in Mau.
The Party member said that the Governor is maligning the state government and said the UP Governor had visited Mau, the site of recent communal clashes, against the advice of the State government.
They have also accused him of being very 'proactive'.
Amar Singh also accused the Governor of ?interfering? even in routine postings and transfers of officials in the state.
?Everything is done at the behest of Sonia Gandhi and Manmohan Singh is not involved in this. We have not made any attack on the government or the PM. it is all happening in the palace,? said Samajwadi Party General Secretary, Amar Singh.
However, the Congress dismissed these charges.
