Siliguri: A special train carrying Indian Army soldiers returning from active duty from Jammu caught fire near the city of Silliguri under Jalpaiguri district of west Bengal at Ambabari Falakata station on Friday evening.
One entire genaral compartment was burnt down by the fire. The fire was quicly brought under control with the help of two fire engines. Regional Army officers and railway official are carrying out the investigation to find out the cause of the fire.
However, no reports of casualty have been reported yet.
