Routes to avoid during Republic Day parade rehearsals

Ahead of the parade, dress rehearsals will be held on Friday. Traffic on certain routes will be restricted for a few hours. However, metro services will be available for commuters at all stations.

No traffic will be allowed from Vijay Chowk to India Gate from 5am to 12.30 pm. Traffic will also not be allowed on Tilak Marg, Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg, Subhash Marg from 10 am but cross traffic will be allowed as per parade position.

Commuters can take the Ashram Chowk and the IP flyover route to reach Rajghat from the Ring Road. In the east west corridor, commuters are to go through Mathura road to Safdarjung road towards Mother Teresa Crescent to reach from the Ring road to Shankar Road
