The Jammu roads have been witness to a number of serious road accidents that have killed many people.
New Delhi: Five persons were killed and a dozen others injured in different road mishaps in Jammu region last night official sources said.
A man identified as Noor Hussain from Phagwara of Punjab was crushed to death by a rashly driven truck at Chimpari area in Udhampur district on Friday.
A mini bus helper identified as Shyam Lal also died after he fell down from a moving vehicle in Udhampur town.
A collision between two motorcycles on Wednesday in the Muthi area of Jammu city killed two youths identified as S K Panidt and Uttam Singh.
In a mini bus accident Balbir Singh of Billawar succumbed to injuries and was admitted to a hospital in the Gurah Kalyal (Kathua district).
