If reports are anything to go by, Rima Kallingal, whose last two films 'Escape From Uganda' and 'Ezhu Sundara Rathrikal' couldn't set the cash registers ringing at the Box Office, will play a journalist in her next project opposite Mammootty. The title of her next, which will be helmed by cinematographer-turned-filmmaker Venu, hasn't been decided yet.
Rima and Mammootty had earlier shared screen space in 'Kammath & Kammath', and 'Bavuttiyude Namathil'.
Rima Kallingal married director Ashiq Abu in November last year sans any 'filmy glamour'. The two had a registered marriage attended by close relatives and a few colleagues.
Kallingal had entered filmdom with 'Ritu' in 2009, the same year when Abu became a full time director. So far she has enjoyed a good run with quite a few hits to her credit including '22 Female Kottayam', 'Indian Rupee' and 'Zachariayude Garbhinikal'.
