Rajasthan Governor Margaret Alva on Tuesday appointed Vice Chancellors of the four new government universities set up in the state.
While Professor U C Sankhla is appointed as VC of Dr Bheemrao Ambedkar Law University in Jaipur, Vimlesh Choudhary would be the VC of Shekhawati University in Sikar, Dr M R Saini appointed the VC of Fishery University at Alwar, and Dr K D Swami in Brij University at Bharatpur, an official communique said.
The four universities were announced in the state budget in March this year. In another announcement, the state government appointed Dr R D Saini, Surjeet Lal Meena and Dr K R Bagari as members of the Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC), an official spokesperson said.
