Nagpur: Raj Thackeray is on the second leg of his state wide tour in Nagpur.

There was an impressive turnout of well wishers and supporters. The former Shiv Sainik spoke to the media, but continued to refrain from revealing too much about his new party.

Drums, hoardings, and crackers welcomed Raj Thackeray in Nagpur as he roamed the city to gather support for his new political party.

Thackeray is currently on the second-leg of his Maharahstra-wide tour. He had earlier gone to Wardha where he spent some time at Mahatma Gandhi's Ashram.

When questioned whether the Gandhian or Shiv Sena ideology appealed more to his newly formed party, Thackeray remained non-commital.

"I don't want to get into controversy now on whether my party is agitation and issues will be on Gandhian lines or on Shiv Sena lines," he said.

Remaining a little ambiguous on his next move, he did however stress on the fact that his party would function like a university.

"The structure of my party will be like that of a university. The problems of Maharshtra will be like faculties of the university," he stated.

Raj Thackeray will now proceed to parts of Marathwada, Western Maharashtra, an NCP stronghold, as well as Konkan in the next few weeks.

And it will only be sometime in March that he will formally announce the inception of his new party.
