New Delhi: The fact that Shahid Kapoor returns to the big screen after a year long sabbatical, 'Phata Poster Nikhla Hero' has to be one of his special movies.
His last 2 projects may not have been as successful as he had expected, but Rajkumar Santoshi's film promises to be entertaining and different. As Shahid had told us in an interview, "this is the first time he will be seen delivering hero wale dialogues in a typical Bollywood masala film", allowing his fans to see him in a completely different avatar.
The film which features Ileana D'cruz as the female lead and Nargis Fakhri in a foot-tapping item number releases today.
Will Rajkumar Santoshi's comedy caper with liberal doses of action and sentiment prove as successful as his previous projects 'Andaz Apna Apna' and 'Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani'?
Will Shahid with his unique body language, a different way of dialogue delivery and comic timing send the viewers into peals of laughter?
Will 'Phata Poster Nikhla Hero' prove that a comedy film needn't depend on double-meaning jokes, obscenity, buffoonery and scatalogical humor to earn appreciation and huge revenue?
